News from Executive Forum of the Lehigh Valley
On Wednesday morning August 1st, almost 50 members of the Lehigh Valley Executive Forum gathered at the Mack Trucks’ Museum in Allentown. The group was hosted by the general manager of the Mack Customer Center who provided a brief history and overview of the facility. The Mack Museum was born as a non-profit corporation in 1984 and commemorates Mack history through photos, memorabilia and a collection of vintage Mack truck models. In addition to being the authority on all things Mack, the Mack Trucks Historical Museum also restores and preserves vintage Mack Trucks and memorabilia for all to enjoy.
Members were given the opportunity to tour the museum as well as experience the state-of-the-art customer facility typically reserved for use by clients when selecting their truck(s).
The event was another example of how the Executive Forum members benefit from behind-the-scenes tours of prominent Lehigh Valley companies. The highlight of the morning for many members was being able to climb behind the wheel of a big rig and have their picture taken.
